Become An Associate

WGAE
January 01, 2007

I don't yet qualify for Guild membership. How can I still be involved with the Guild?

The Writers Guild of America East's Associate Subscription Program introduces aspiring writers to the ins and outs of the writing life, as well as provides services to writers prior to joining the Guild.

It's a program that opens up to non-professional writers all the great resources that the Writers Guild East has to offer and makes them more aware of the protections that should be afforded to them.

Subscriptions are open to anyone with an interest in writing for broadcast media and the silver screen, with special services directed to students and professional writers working in non-Guild areas.

Join the WGAE Associate Program today!

Associate Program benefits include Writers Guild East publications, exclusive features on the Writers Guild East website, film festival discounts as well as screenings, panels and other events.

In addition, Associate Subscribers qualify for a $17 reduced rate on ten-year script registration ($15 for student subscribers). A one-year subscription is $75 for non-students and $35 for students with a valid student ID. Students must fax a copy of their student ID to 212-582-1909.
